Cannabidiol (CBD) is a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant, also known as marijuana or hemp. CBD is one of many cannabinoids, which are active ingredients in cannabis. Unlike the most well-known cannabinoid, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is not psychoactive, meaning it does not cause a "high." CBD has been shown to have a wide range of potential health benefits, including: pain relief, anxiety relief, sleep improvement, seizure reduction, and more.
